PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In 2014 DBRDS was given the opportunity to design 70x new-build apartments in the vibrant community of Little Italy, San Diego. The project was designed as San Diego’s first Con-X-Tech modular steel frame apartment building with framing construction completed in a little under 6-weeks. The building was designed to maximize coastal views & breezes with 95% of the apartments being naturally cross-ventilated. A local art-filled lobby space welcomes residents while a fitness room, dog-wash area and roof-top deck create a sense of community in the heart of the city.
