Eid el-Fitr Mubarak!

Eid el-Fitr Mubarak! Today, billions of Muslims around the world celebrate the close of the month of Ramadan with a holiday called Eid al-Fitr (which translates to 'holiday of breaking the fast'). While Ramadan is a month dedicated to fasting, prayer, charity, self-reflection and community, Eid al-Fitr lasts one to three days, and is spent visiting friends and family, exchanging gifts, attending bazaars and concerts, and of course indulging in plenty of food and desserts. So from all of us at DBRDS to Muslims around the world participating in today's festivities, Eid Mubarak!
