Cielo Apartments, Little Italy

Cielo combines refined simplicity with opulence, providing luxury apartment living in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. 70x new apartments overlooking the bay front, including 6x affordable housing units which give the development a density bonus and allowing for additional FAR & larger unit sizes. DBRDS designed a multi-story central atrium, giving a majority of the apartments cross-ventilation and natural lighting to both sides of the unit ensuring that sustainable planning would lead design decision making. Cielo is also San Diego’s first multi-family modular steel-frame development project.
